De la dune au Bassin

It's been a long time since Patrice and Françoise wanted us to discover the Arcachon basin.
Proof of the attractiveness of the place, the event quickly displayed complete.

The traditional picnic on Saturday, at the beach of the small Nice just escaped the rain.
The ascent of the dune Pilat, terribly explained by our guides, opened the activities of the weekend.

Direction then towards "The house of the oyster" in Port Larros, the opportunity to discover the unexpected complexity of the breeding of the oysters before they arrive in our plates.
The evening meal closed this beautiful first day.

Sunday, we traveled, by small train, the winter city of Arcachon with its villas all more beautiful than the others.

A walk at sea allowed us to tour the basin and learn all about the life and speific aspects of the basin.

The stay ended with a lunch at the captaincy.
